while the aluminum stud was put into one of the buckle holes

The right frizzen is a bit loose on the spring

We came across a very small amount of these British WWII P 1943 MkII* Bayonets for the No. 1 MkIII Enfield rifle, often called the SHT. LE, SMLE, S. M. L. E., "Smelly" etc. Commonly known as the "JUNGLE FIGHTING" Bayonet, not to be confused with the Jungle Carbine Bayonet, this essentially was the original P 1907 long S. L. M. E.
