Description

During Britain's colonial days the RAMC set up clinics and hospitals in countries where British troops could be found

(There is some circumstantial evidence to suggest that each gun was accompanied by several magazines

In the center of the shell it is clearly engraved:

the Blendkörper were rather common in use

This indicates use by the 46th (1st Lower Silesian) Infantry "Count Kirchbach" Infantry Regiment

This appears to have started life as a 1918 trench knife which was reworked to be a custom knuckle duster knife using a composite grip with has an impressed name JOHN LUCAS on one side. The center of the grip bears a carved bone skull. The entire grip and steel knuckle duster was painted back where as the blade was deeply blued. A custom leather sheath was produced and also painted or stained back at some point. Overall
