This is a very rare document set that belonged to a Chine Marine that also served through WWII. In includes the following items: 1932 Battle of Soochow Creek medal document named to GEORGE B. DAVIS dated May 6th, 1932. The Soochow Creek Medal actually covers several varieties, but all relate to the US presence in Shanghai when the conflict between China and Japan was brewing. Soochow Creek was a main waterway through
