It is a 2 by 1 rib pattern, with plenty of cross stretch to allow the sock to stretch over the calf and up to the knee. It will comfortably fit a women's shoe size 6 10. One size. We used 2 ends of the wool cashmere yarn in the knitting of these socks. This creates a substantial weight that will help
