This is a genuine U. S. Navy type Mark I Boat Clock, made by Seth Thomas. It is mounted in a dust proof and moisture proof black phenolic case with a 3 1 4" dial. It features hour and minute hands on the main dial, with a smaller dial for the seconds. This is essentially a scaled down version of the larger "Deck Clock" which would have a 5 1 4" dial, and we assume were used on smaller boats and interior areas where
