Finely Done Antique Flower Specimen Watercolor: Violets bag of clay marbles from what I understand theseThis is one of several finely executed watercolors of floral specimens I am listing by a May Elizabeth Green, and I must say when I first saw this one I thought for a moment that it was an actual pressed violet from an herbarium. Really delicately done, as it was meant to be, documenting two different varieties of violets and their leaves. 8" x 5 1 8" and in excellent condition. Late 19th century I believe.
