The buckle is embossed with the Heer motto GOTT MIT UNS ("God with us") surrounding a Weimar German Eagle. The design is basically the same as the previous Prussian Buckle, but the Crown is replaced with the Eagle. It is constructed of Solid Nickel Silver, with a pebbled body and soldered on
