I just can't resist things like this that feel so invested with love and effort--right down to perching a little brown bee (I think it is) on the petals of the big green flower

which give it such a marvelous intimacy and specificity that its nature as a drawing is most certainly the dominant one

I believe these are antique penny toys, late 19th century or so, most likely made in Germany but I'm not 100% sure. Larger measures 4" l. Smaller 2 5 8" l.
