I have done a fair bit of searching but have not placed the precise origins of this pinback button

These meet all my criteria: quite old

I'd guess 1920s-30s or so

The holes at the center of each ring are slightly graduated in size

Very lovingly carved and constructed, of cigar box wood wood I believe, with especially nice incising on the slide opening, with four stars surrounding the coin slit and zig zag edges on either end. Lovely, Approx. 4 1 2" x 4 1 2" x 4 1 2". Very good condition, with a small loss to one point,
