I recently purchased a bundle of antique school notebooks from a bookseller in England

Just shy of 4" tall

7 1/8" in diameter and in very good condition

and I know from a little research that it dates to the 1930s or so

Signed Oil on Tin Painting Dansk I recently purchased a bundleThis painting, oil on tin, just struck me as quite a nice one, with a satisfying moodiness and sense of symbolism to it. The season for daffodils is half a year away as I write this, but the painting feels to me as much about the fading as the blooming, with the tips of a number of the leaves curling to brown, and the shadowy golds and grays of the ground enhancing a sense of late in the day ness. All the while the full blooms are really lovely. 15 7
