Dating to about 1810, this is a very nice plain iron mounted pistol with a 6 1 2" barrel, measuring 11" in overall length. Originally made in flintlock, it was later converted to percussion, most likely during the Early Victorian era. The attachment points for the frizzen and spring can still be seen on the lock plate, with the holes now plugged. The lock is faintly inlaid in gold with what looks to be Bury, and
