This is a nice example of a genuine World War I M 1915 French Army "Adrian" steel helmet, which looks to have seen long service. The front of the helmet no longer retains the standard RF badge. The badge looks to have been lost as a result of what appears to be a shrapnel hole in the center of the front of the helmet which then passed through the front of the liner.
