Hand-painted Round Wooden Trinket Box with Colorful Fish vintage glove mold Spokeshaves--which apparently date to prehistoricI believe this wonderful vintage turned wood trinket box with hand painted fish on top is likely one of a kind; I have found no other like it, and the irregularity of the edge of the black paint makes me think it was made to please its maker rather than for sale. I think the fish is just fantastic, rendered in a pale green, gray, and a soft yellow, with orange and red details, all popping against a glossy black ground. The box measures 3 3 4" in
