late 19th/early century I believe

carved part is 3 1/4" tall

I especially love the zig zag silhouette of the head

England on the underside and impressed with the word "Ivory"

I've never seen the likes of it before, a paperweight with photograph embedded perfectly framed by cutout heart inside the larger brass heart. Surely a love token, and surely made by a metalsmith, in 1903, I presume for his sweetheart Carrie (or Earrie? but I'm thinking maybe he just added an extra flourish
