This is definitely among my favorite whimsies I've had in the shop--wonderful form with tiered finial-- the topper of which almost feels like a fisted hand--softened with age and wear

I like this one as much as any I have seen, with its bold, perfectly resolved composition, super rich color, and fine detail. Really a beauty I think, in excellent condition, I would guess mid 19th century. Sold in the frame I found it in, which is in very good condition.
