This is an incredibly rare Luftwaffe eagle insignia that was cut from an ultra rare 1st Pattern Paratrooper Smock. It is in very good condition, with lovely machine embroidering. The wings are still clear, with just a little wear. The back of the eagle shows the correct brown and green fabric weave used on the 1st pattern Paratrooper Smocks. The Fallschirmjger were the paratrooper branch of the German Luftwaffe
