This is a fantastic example of the Model 1942 Company Field Desk. This table top fold out desk still bears green paint and has both leather side handles still intact, as well as the lock on the top, made by Excelsior in Connecticut. The two closure latches on the outside are fully functional, and both hinges on the "top" work as well. The top drawer still pulls out and retains its pull rings. U. S. is no longer
