Late 19th Century custom brass Signal cannon, with a barrel reminiscent of 18th century field guns. The bore is about 0. 88", meaning these would give a hearty thump when discharged, perfect for sending short range signals, particularly if used at sea on a small boat. This features a 7 brass barrel with a cascabel, and it has the standard touch hole ignition. The cannon is mounted on a
