I don't think these detract from the overall beauty of this piece

or the starting point for making a folksy tray

and 2 1/4 inches at the base

It's seen some use for sure--most curiously

but would certainly love to see it put to use

Bone had a great line and terrific sense of humor which this pen and ink drawing animating a Victorian wicker rocker cut from an old catalog wonderfully exemplifies.
