This is a very rare example of a well known helmet. The British Household Cavalry are made up of two regiments, The Life Guards who wear Red Tunics with White Horse hair plumes on their helmets and the "Blues" known as the Horse Guards who wear Blue Tunics and with Red Horse hair plumes in their helmets. This Helmet comes from the period of 1902 1910 during the reign of King Edward 7th. We know this because the
