Worn But Magical Feeling Antique Native American Hide Star Mirror (Pin Cushion?) tribal basket F Lovelee presumably was stayingThis has lost some of its beading and some of the fancy wire that once entirely framed the mirror, but I find it such an extraordinarily beautiful and special feeling thing, there was no way it wasn't coming home with me. I've never seen another like it, feeling much like a fragment mirror, but all the better for that mirror being embedded in a four point star sewn of hide, with beading at the corners and woven metallic thread around the sides. 19th
