Wonderful Carved Antique Limberjack with Great Face and Boots pewter shell game I guess the brilliant blue

I guess the brilliant blue bits of paper hanging on to the surface are remnants of some sort of label

Notebook measures 10 1/8" x 7 3/4"

and which I'd guess dates to the 1920s or so

with black for his beady eyes and red for the inside of his giant mouth

and heavy (I forgot to weigh but would guess 4 lbs or so)

Terrific carved face too, with triangular nose and a wide smile, which appears to have been enhanced with graphite, also to give him eyeballs.
