This is an excellent unissued NOS (New Old Stock) example of a Boyt manufactured sling for the M1 Garand, still in its original wrapper! The sling is in outstanding condition with just storage wear and heavy verdigris. The sling is marked with the BOYT logo reading BOYT DES MOINES, IOWA. The original wrapper is marked 1 MILITARY SLING, BOYT NO. SL 1 K, along with: OLDS METALS CO. RM 245 131A CLASS D & B 101. B. SEC.
