Largest cat is 1 3/8" long and the smaller cats are 3/4" long

I purchased a studio pottery bowl similar in feeling to this one at the estate sale of a professor of architecture who had an incredible collection of modernist furniture

all of which I think are just fabulous

attaching to the rotating platform upon which the couple stand--by turning it manually

and the construction amazing

I know from the seller it came from Berks County, PA, and based on a fair bit of comparison with early grain painted early PA frames out there, I believe it dates to the 1830s 40s. Beautifully
