The exterior surface is carved with a grid of nine squares on each side

5 1/2" t x 6” d" including head of frog x 5 1/2” d in the opposite direction

and the theme is pretty excellent too

and--found in New Hampshire--I think either New England or Pennsylvania

He'll sit up on his own in various poses, and can also stand balanced in a split or backbend, etc. Stamped Delta Japan on one foot, c. 1920 1940 I believe. 15 1 2 tall ; 3 3 4 wide shoulders and in good condition, all joints operating well. Dry wood surface, showing age
