This is an excellent all original example of a German Model 42 Steel helmet, as issued to the Wehrmacht Heer (army). This stamped sheet steel construction helmet retains over 95% of its original Feldgrau lightly textured paint, with just a few small chips and scuffing. It does not have any service decal, which was common later in the war. It does however have a great original German WWII issue helmet net, with the
