These helmets were introduced in 1941 (see page 53 & 215 of the book Vintage Flying Helmets by Prodger)

as well as various other markings

For whatever reason the notes taken with each photograph at the time were misdirected and when laying out the book for publication in England it was assumed the revolver bore no markings and consequently might have been a Nepalese attempt to copy a British Beaumont Adams percussion Revolver

It has two slits on the top for a belt

This is a very nice example of a black leather hardshell Walther P38 holster. It is nicely stamped on the reverse bdr 43 which stands for Richard Ehrhardt of Possneck in Thueringen. The overall condition of the holster is very good, with black dyed leather, heavy white stitching, intact original belt loops, and pistol ejection strap.
