This is a traditional German first world war with Prussian brass mounted leather helmet known as a Pickelhaulbe. It displays lovely condition brass Prussian spread eagle helmet plate and comes complete with supple original leather liner. Partial chinstrap included. The spike on top denotes infantry issue. The helmet is also dated on the interior 1916 and is marked Muhlenfeld & Co. Barmen as well as size 57 1 2 along
