Alura Talking Machine, Antique Phonograph Disc Reproducer school supplies and perhaps most of allI'm not the least bit knowledgable about old phonographs, but know this is a "reproducer" disc, the function of which was is to convert the sound impressions from the record into sound waves. Coming across it the other day in Maine, I just loved seeing the words "talking machine" in perfect sans serif capital letters, and all the better combined with "Alura" and two stars in between.
