This is a very nice service used example of a Korean War Era U. S. Marine Corps Issue M1 Helmet as used during the Korean War Era and into the early Vietnam Conflict. The shell looks to be a standard Korean war issue or possibly late WWII, and has swivel bales and a manganese steel rim with a rear seam. There is a faint heat lot stamp, which looks to be M 1244 or maybe M 1844, which we cannot see clearly due to some
