This is very good patinated example of a German WWII Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939 (Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse 1939) with its original red, black, and white ribbon, as well as an original paper packet, though it is worn. The award itself is does look to have a maker mark on the ring, but it was mis struck, so we cannot read it, even with a 16X magnifier. The cross itself is a very fine example with crisp beading, showing
