I don't know much about it but that it appears to be pretty old and is

possessing an immediacy

Some wear to the paper on the interior but overall really excellent condition

structurally he is in great shape and not particularly delicate

and also calls sewer tile sculpture to mind

Nicole old write paint, black for mane and tail, and rich red over its back. 3 3 4" l x 1 3 4" t x 1 3 16" wide and in very good condition, all the better for wear. Earlyish 20th century I would guess.
