who I believe purchased them some years ago from a notable Pennsylvania collection of naive drawings

and all the more so filled with a couple of calla lilies

Antique Three Balls in Cage Carved Whimsy with Nice Details stone salt and pepper 1 3/16" wide at kneesI believe this whimsy, all carved from one piece of wood, is quite old, and appears to show remnants of white paint. I love the tapered sides of the base, and the dome like top, with a carved circle detail at the very top, visible when viewed from above. Stands sturdy on its own, with a really nice presence. 5 3 4" t x 1 1 4" wide and deep. Very good I believe antique condition.
