While the RPD began production in 1944 this example is a post WWII RPD Soviet Machine gun. It is marked with nH 255 B on the top cover with a date of 1953. The arsenal marking is too faint to be recognized. Included with the display gun are an original Belt drum which locks onto a bracket below the feed tray and the original butt stock tool kit. No Dummy Rounds, belts, or Shell Casings are included. The original
