with a few spots along the left edge (I think probably rubber cement stains) and a couple of small smudges

who apparently painted lots of flowers in vases

while the sifting area is woven of a finely twisted natural fiber the same color just a shade darker than the grass

these would be great for the porch or patio on a hot summer evening--though really pretty great anytime at all

but with the first name painted over in black so only the last name

So Japanese maybe 1980s or so? and really a charmer. The head is attached to the interior of the neck by a thin wire, and I wouldn't say it is especially effective at bobbling, but it is very good at sitting on a shelf looking cute! Good vintage condition, with no notable dings; there is one spot on
