The increased working time of these acrylic paints allows artists to use more traditional oil painting techniques when working with them. Thick applications can dry extremely slowly, so it is recommended artists only use OPEN Acrylics thinly (<1mm). Mixing OPEN with faster drying acrylics like the Golden Fluid and Heavy Body
