Excellent condition Civil War leather cartridge box. Cleanly embossed US on outer flap. The outer surfaces of the box exhibit expected wear and crazing from age and use. The box still has the closure tab and brass finial at the bottom. Both roller buckles are present on the bottom of the box. The reverse of the box has the entire belt and shoulder strap loops still intact. The reverse is also stamped with makers mark
