Purchased directly from a WW2 veterans family. This hand painted cloth flag is marked with multiple phrases, some of which translate to "For Bravery", "Good Luck", "Go Win War", with battle quotes, plus many names of friends and family. The flag measures approximately 40" x 29". Cloth seems to be linen, with the red sun dyed onto the center. Corner reinforcements seem to be thin leather. Flag is in excellent condition and
