though I don't know the identity of its maker

I've always got an eye out for great puppets

with just traces of their old aces remaining

Beautiful fat old iron nails that have bled, terrific warm patina to the wood, solid and sturdy as could be, with a front clasp that closes tight. There is a single hinge on the back which is tightly attached and works great. I really love a utilitarian box like this, which could easily be emptied to stash other
