Stump, Commander of the United States Pacific Fleet from July 10th, 1953 until July 31st, 1958, and a seasoned WWI & WWII veteran, commanding the USS Langley and USS Lexington during WWII, being well decorated for his work. He would be awarded two Navy Crosses, the Navy and Army Distinguished Service Medal, a
