who comes from a large family of carvers (his grandfather is Manomie Shaqu and uncles Towatuga Sagouk and Enook Manomie)

with a wonderful solid black glazed edge on one side

Overall good condition- some darkening/staining and some wear to corners and edges but no significant folds

offered to guests in a gesture of hospitality for them to select their preferred ingredients

I just love the spiky black leaves on these blue and purple branches

Ed Parson's Old Ball in Cage Rattle Whimsy carved jack straws who comes from a largeThere was a label taped onto the top of this whimsy rattle, which I found in Maine, identifying it as having been caved by Ed Parsons of Stonington who I am pretty certain I have identified as Edward L. Parsons, born in in Rockport, MA in 1879 and buried in Stonington, Maine in 1948. I think it likely thathe carved it for a child or grandchild, and must say it's a pretty satisfying rattle to wave around! A nicely carved one too, with lovely long,
