but the paint job on the mustard yellow cow with blue eye and cowbell is pretty hard to beat

ink and crayon on cardboard from a graham cracker box

adding up to a perfect patina on that marvelous painted face

Daffodils, Watercolor on Cut Paper, c. 1940 random industries Hand-thrown and just the rightI'll never resist a lovely floral watercolor and here is another with the almost circular gray cut paper ground elevating those white petaled daffodils to a higher level of elegance and resolve. Really lovely, and would be especially beautiful I think in a black stained, fairly wide edged frame. 9" x 7 1 8". Looks to have been extracted from a scrapbook, with the date of 1940 on the reverse. Good condition, watercolor, with light smudges a few small
