This is great example of the very hard to find Springfield Model 1896 KragJrgensen Carbine. Unlike most examples, this was not upgraded later to 1902 standards, or fitted with a saddle ring. This unfortunately means that it did not have any chance to serve in a Cavalry Unit during the last days of mounted infantry, but it is still a great example. It measures approximately 41 inches (1,042 mm) in overall length with
