I'd guess he dates to the early 20th century

it is the handwritten "Get Hot" on one side of this old pin cushion that sold me on it

just missing the toe on one foot

and there are enough of these jars out there that I think they pretty widely exported it

The first photo shows it turned upside down, so as to see the cookie cutter underside, but then flipped right side up it could be used as a measuring cup, grater and pie wheel everything a baker might need in one brilliant make do creation.
