I think it would make the perfect little vase or planter (a little cactus would seem most appropriate

Great Old Folk Art Frame (Mirror) with Inlaid Stars and Diamonds pretty vase but there are plenty leftWith an opening just over 3" x 5", this lovely inlaid frame would be great for many things though it is pretty nice with a mirror in it too, as is the case now. Beautifully crafted, to my eye its holds folky and refined in perfect balance, fully both at once. Overall dimsensions: 8 13 16" x 6 3 4". I believe at least the darker wood is walnut. Excellent vintage condition, 1920s 40s I would guess. Currently it is fitted with a mirror with glued card
