This is a very nice WWII German National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei NSDAP) First Pattern Flag Pole Finial or Topper (Fahnenstange Endstck) Eagle. It is constructed of nickel plated brass alloy, and is the early multi part design. It no longer has the socket and fittings to attach it to the pole, however the threaded attachment rod is still present and in good
