This is a very nice example of the very hard to find Springfield Model 1896 KragJrgensen Carbine, which still has an intact saddle ring and sight guard. It is in very good honest condition, with no signs of an arsenal recondition or other restoration refinishing efforts. It has a lovely gently worn patina of age from decades of careful cleaning and storage. It measures approximately 41 inches (1,042 mm) in overall
