Excellent Antique Carved Wooden (Presumed Odd Fellowsl) "I" in Best Red, Blue and Gold Paint art class exercise and at 3 1/2 byI would guess this hand carved wooden capital "I" in original paint was once joined by an OOF, to stand for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows; I do not know that for certain but have a pretty good hunch. But, really, what more does one need than an "I"??! Independent, individual, iconic! And of course a bold, gilded "I", with some American red and blue to boot, seems to pretty much perfectly describe this era; me me me! 8" t x 3 1 2" w x 1 7 8" d.
