It is a heavy duty contractor torch for use with acetylene gas. It also work with propane, just by changing the cutting tip. The torch comes with a Harris style 6290 1 cutting tip that will cut up to 1" thick plate steel with acetylene and oxygen. It is capable of cutting up to 6" thick steel with larger tips. At the bottom of the torch is a set of reverse flow check
