In silver gilt, an eight point star covered in delicate filigree designs, central protruding crown on the obverse, reverse with a vertical pinback and dual stays, pin marked MADE IN ETHIOPIA B. A. SEVADJAN, measuring 81 mm (w) x 81. 2 mm (h), extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of the Star of Ethiopia was instituted in 1879 by Negus Menelik of Shoa (later Emperor Menelik II).
